This Kendriya Vidyalaya has adopted Activity Based Approach in teaching learning process in Primary classes. Our motto is “Education is for child” and not “Child for Education” and to provide a joyful environment. This approach focuses on developing competencies and skills for learning. The assessment of the progress of the child is made through grades. Thus the potential of growth is identified and a diagnostic approach for development is followed. Comparison of achievements amongst children is discouraged.

To impart high quality education in Secondary & Senior Secondary Classes, latest educational techniques, modern audio-visual teaching aids and computer assisted learning facilities are utilised. Students of these classes get experimental experience in well equipped experience in well equipped science & laboratories, Geography Lab and Junior Science Lab.

To keep pace with information revolution, our Vidyalaya has made computer literacy education compulsory for all students from class III to XII. At Senior-Secondary level "Computer Science" and “Informatics Practices” is offered as an elective subject. Computer education is imparted in well-equipped computer laboratory with internet facility through well qualified Computer Teachers. Students working online on "Thinkquest"  for developing their projects and imparting knowledge online in all over the world.
